Arriving Thurs. Dec. 8th

Dear Joyus,

As a reminder as you requested, I will be arriving Thurs. evening, Dec. 8th - around 7pm - should i call the next day to perhaps be picked up, or should I just take a taxi?

    call us cuz there are others comming around that time and we may be going to town (san Isidro)...

    directions for a taxi from San Isidro... 8000 calones (16$) 50 minutes...
    We live in San Salvador... Take the road twards Dominical, in San Cristobal (30 minutes) there will be a turn off twards Los Tumbas, there is a big sign with a picuture of Santa Cristo waterfalls that says the most beautiful waterfall in Costa Rica (our back yard)... Take that left (a dirt road) where the sign is... 7 kilomiters down the hill and past the 600 ft Diamonte waterfalls is San Salvador... Go to the football plaza and take the only road that comes off from the side of the field, it goes up a steep hill for 30 feet... Down that road 200 yards, second house on the Left, is us at HOME...

    call and let us know what time you leave san isidro in the taxi so we can be there... the farm is a little walk down from the house... follow the sound of the giant waterfall...

      How many pairs of each of the following do you think would be best to bring?

      Tshirts
      Shorts
      Long-sleeve shirts
      Long pants
      undies
      socks

      I'm assuming the best thing to sleep in would be a sleeping bag? . . .
      And is there anything else you'd recommend bringing (you already mentioned a headlamp and tent). I'm gonna bring a poncho for sure for the rain, and a pair of sneakers and a pair of tevas . .

      I'm also gonna bring a drill, bits, a skillsaw, and an angle grinder ..

        God is sending angles, No? Thanks for bringing down yourself and stuff to help us...

        As far as the specific questions... I only have a few pairs of shorts, pants, shirts, undies and socks... and if i need more... I make them or buy them in town...

        tent village comming soon, so bring those tents...
