  • Thanks for asking Brandon...

In this moment i miss BeinJi.... who is my partner in this project... he is in Asia somewhere and tells me how he dreams of the farm every night, yet planting season is coming, and he may not plant a thing... leaving it to me... (which is not the best idea Beinji!)

Beyond that... here are some details

I awake every day at 515 and get myself ready for the day, and squeeze in 15 minutes of Singing with my lovely harmonium...
singing so sweetly now with the blessings of an angle named Lalana that Graced me with many things and then went back to the snow in Vermont...

At 6 i meet my 10 workers for our morning yoga routine and prayers to Jesus (pronounced Hey-Sus) they are all Christian and take turns praying after our 15 minutes of yoga...

when i was away last time for 4 months they continued the yoga practice and also added a sweet touch at the end... they hug each-other
which with me there means we each give 10 hugs before 620 AM... then 7 of them go off to work on construction projects and 3 of them go of into the 'campo' to do maintenance projects on the farm... weedwacking and chopping mostly...

I then check in with the wood supplies of the carpenters and make a list to call in so we can have some wood made... its amazing how much wood 7 carpenters can burn up... turning into casitas, Yea!!!

I then go down and eat some Granadillas (grenades), my favorite fruit of the season... 10 for a Buck... and if you dont know what they are, sorry thats your loss, for getting so sucked into that culture up there that you think you even like it!!! (sorry for the projections, just trying to light some fires to get you guys down here and play in our waterfalls and eat the amazing seasonal fruit)... Mangos are going off right now and i eat only 5 or 6 a week cuz there is so much Granadilla to eat... what problems?

Then i go and bathe in the pool above Santa cristo Falls, which is a one minute walk from my house, for now, "el Templo"... see the photos

I go about 4 times a week to fill up the truck with wood at the lumber mill, where he makes my wood special the day i order it.... which kind sucks cuz its so wet and heavy... not the best to build with, but its working out ok...

There are usually nice folks up at the house above the farm taking care of the only kitchen we have on the farm, (which is 400 vertical feet above the rest of the farm... They feed me, cuz i forget to eat... (i live off avocados and goat cheese and other cheeses, and fruit) ANd i feel great...

There are no other full time members working with me on this project now... Tenassi is up on the mountain in the cave... 3-kilometers drive and 1 mile walk into a virgin rain-forest... Jon is fluttering between his different projects and lands... ( he is the man who bought all the land and is stewarding it being given to the future generations in the best way possible)

I know that more people will come (probably when we finish the kitchen down on the farm) and that keeps me strong as i deal with the stress of the logistics of funding and running such a project... I actually feel like ive got to be one of the luckiest people around... fulfilling my dreams on such a piece of land, with such a waterfall, and now living in that temple... woh!!! Jai Ma.... talk about Grace!!!

SO my job now is to Share the Grace that i can not own or contain...

So im building a village for people to come and Heal, relax, Real-eyze their true identity and purpose...

We (me and whoever shows up) are going to soon have a educational retreat center to do with it as we choose... With education being our highest motivation... getting the teachings to the people who need them to do the works needed to transform this planet... And to learn to go beyond the illusion of this world and reside in Higher truths of the Saints and Profits... Dogma Free of course...

A note on the funding... i was blessed by my family and some wise investing with a large sum of money to start this project... and we will be easily get grants to continue in the future, with the infrastructure and people we will call into this project...

So going Beyond Money!!! as a motivation...

Lets work together to meet all of our basic needs, food shelter, purpose, community and such, and then go to the next level...

What can a group of people accomplish if they have their needs met and are willing to work together intentionally with consensus? Working-loving as a group as service to each-other, the local community and the world?

This is a motivating question beyond my mission...

So now im creating the village for the inspired souls to live and work-love in service to this land, and this community...

The local people here are so amazing, truly humble and relaxed... very poor, yet more content than me and most westerners... My workers make between 1.50 and 3.00 an hour... and thats a good wage, cuz they work for a gringo...

Im curious how many people read this and are touched or think im crazy or whatever...

If you would like to send me a personal note i would love to hear from you, though i may respond briefly, i love to hear your hearts... joyusone@gmail.com is my email...

And if you have more questions post them and i will respond...

Love and Light to All Beings....

    Praise the Mother of Creation

    • Kitchen down on the farm you say?

      Thu, March 8, 2007 - 12:43 PM
Well its happened, and its changed everything...

we brought the kitchen down to the farm... and we put it across from the cebo tree...

its a temporary kitchen, but its already allowing us to spend more time down on the farm... eating and being...

So the village is opening... its kindof crazy... my dreams are comming true right in front of my eyes...

      Jai Ma...

      JoyUs

ps. on a more real note... i dont want anyone to think that this is all merryland... for our gusts it can be, but for me i am being pushed to the limits of my capasity... i spent many years traveling and being free of responsabilites... now i have 10 employees and a vision being built threw me with no commited help... help is on the way i trust, but my stress level is sustained through the week... (Hey mom,im responsable, just what you alwayse wanted)

      weekends are really nice...
