Benji and Joyus are the only full timers living on the farm wich is the best farmland we own... it is a southern facing side of a valley with a river at the bottom... at the edge of our property there is the over 200 foot waterfall "Nayaka"... It is something that has to be seen to believe... our farm is about 60 acres and is getting a new road system put in... ther is currently funding avalable to really get this farm going and will pay for all the infastructure, trees, labor and all that juicy stuff... we feel that the western world is on the verge of collapse (even if that dosent happen for 30 years its still soon) and are doing all we can to invest in things that will sustain Gods children who make it HOME... our founder and inspiration Jon baught this land and all the rest of this land because he was guided by Spirit to do so... and refuses to sell it because there is such a high potiential for Heaven that no ammount of money could buy him out... and he wants to give it to all of gods children... US... so we come along with the skills and money we have and not by chance the same vision he has been holding and deside to put our money and service into this project as a gift to the future of mankind...
We will soon have infastructure to accomadate travelers and seekers comfortably with a kitchen and compost shitter... Gardens will follow when we get more hands to help... we do not yet have a trust but will soon... we have no rules because so far we all work so effortlesly and selflessly that it all just happens threw us... but as more people arive we probably will and will update those things...
keep asking questions and call us if you want to get some support in leaving behind life in the US.

Re: current status of the HOME farm community aug 2005
Wed, September 21, 2005 - 6:15 PMKundalini yogini here. just finishing my teacher cert. hopefully before coming H.O.M.E. Have met Destino, Tenasi, Benji, Andrea. Immediatly I felt this is my family! This is my dream too and i'm down to get my hands into the dirt and enjoy Sadhana with you!!
Lived in an eco-village/bicycle recycle/trash worship in Austin TX. we had compost shitters, solar panels, rain collection, terraced gardens, yurts, cob structures. i have a skeleton knowledge of these things, but am familiar to what it's like to live this reality and put in the effort.
i plan on visiting this winter, hopefully for a few months, including retreat time in Feb.
white magnetic world-bridger attracting opportunity. networking our family, weaving puzzle peaces together. LOVE & UNITY!!
Sat Nam! Paz y Luz!

Re: current status of the HOME farm community aug 2005
Mon, October 3, 2005 - 12:37 PMUpdate from the farm... Planting lots of ground cover in the orcards and clearing and planting Bamboo... Benji left JoyUs (me) the farm to myself and i am having lots of fun... The rain is sooooo nice.... every night i sleep to the gentle noise and the wet air.... The mold is a serious issue, but we are learning... I am having lots of premanitions that the global economy is on the verge of collapse and that sustainability is the only work that is truly important in these years we have left of a globalized trade planet... We will be moving into a building of infastructure as soon as the rains let up a bit and need anyone with experience to aid us... worktrade... Much love and stay in touch... JoyUs -

Mon, October 3, 2005 - 3:30 PMJoyus, I was at the Technilogical Institute in Cartago last week talking to their biodigester expert and I checked out their little bamboo collection. They have little Guadua angustifolia (the good construction bamboo) but have lots of a good furniture bamboo sent from Taiwan and a fair area of a good eddible bamboo. They'll supply seed material if you cover the costs.

Mon, October 3, 2005 - 12:37 PMHigh Joyus, your updates and pictures reflect your light and I'd be grateful to be a friend of yours. I have read "Last Days" and also his "Prophets Way" another to recommend. I have read many authors and scientist verifying that these changing times will be wild. Knowing how to live wild will be extreemly valuable. I've been working on my trail to your area for a while and would like to share a few here and now moments with you there and then. I will be at your service upon arrival. I look foward to sharing a few tales and adventures in your outstanding digs..............emptycloud

Re: current status of the HOME farm community aug 2005
Thu, October 13, 2005 - 10:37 AMA JoyUs update... we just had a 10 year flood and the river swelled to probably 500 times the quantity that flows in the dry season... some trees got swept to the ocean... and some bolders got moved out of our swiming hole (YEA!)... Laura had her baby on the fist of october in the first light of the day... its a girl... I was present for this my first birth experience... Clinton, the father caught the babe with the confidence and cool of a traind dula...
If anyone is actually reading this, I have a question for you...
Is there anyting inside you that does not ever change?
i would love to hear back on that one...

Re: Is there anything inside you that does not ever change?
Fri, October 21, 2005 - 2:25 PMThat which is changeless is the backdrop upon which the phenomenon of "YOU" or "ME" is projected..."YOU"/"ME" is a fantasy, a creation of the programmed collective mind. When "YOU"/"ME" goes, what is left? Only Life itself, expanding and evolving into form. The wave on the ocean thinks it is separate, but that is a temporary hallucination supported by the thinking of all the other waves. When the wave collapses back into the ocean, it is again one with the Source. Stay there.
